SIRIUS: A Review

By David Nova | Deus Nexus

It’s probably no exaggeration to claim “Sirius” may be one of the most important films ever made.  Of course, I’m intimately familiar with the subject matter, so I’m a little biased.  Yet no other issue has the potential to impact and completely transform our civilization, if we are brave enough to look it square in the eyes.  Unfortunately, at the accelerated pace that world changes are occurring, we may not have that choice very much longer.  Even the Vatican has stepped to the forefront of UFO phenomenon disclosure.

“Sirius” is inspired by the work of Dr. Steven Greer, an emergency room doctor who found a higher calling, and started the Disclosure Project.  In 2001, he gathered twenty military, intelligence, and scientific witnesses at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to testify to the reality of UFOs.

Directed by Emmy Award winning Amardeep Kaleka, and funded by the highest documentary crowd-funding in history, ‘Sirius’ introduces DNA sequenced evidence of an unknown humanoid, and examines the reality and the science of UFOs, visiting extraterrestrials, and the advanced energy technology they use to travel here.

The documentary covers a dizzying array of topics in very short order.  I was riveted throughout the film, even though I was already familiar with much of the material.  The film excels at throwing a great deal of information at you without overloading you.  As montage after montage of unidentified sightings flash on the screen the cumulative effect is that of a snowball rolling down a mountain, becoming an avalanche of evidence that overtakes you before your critical, egocentric mind can interrupt and protest.

However, it’s far from a perfectly crafted film.  There’s entirely too much jumping about, from topic to topic, without the ease of a more seamless   transition.  The introduction of the unknown humanoid found in the Atacama desert of Chile, and the requisite teasing of the DNA evidence throughout the film is naturally the main story thread, however too many other story lines are similarly fractured.

Naturally, viewers today are easily bored.  We have short attention spans.  Much of this jarring jumping about has become standard documentary film style these days, but given the complex subject matter, a more organic structure might seem in order.  As a film editor myself, I’ve worked on enough National Geographic documentaries to know how the material might be packaged a little better.  I would have made a few different choices.

For example, Dr. Greer introduces his CE-5 protocols early in the film.  Given the highly controversial nature of this material, I might have placed it much later, moving the segment where the scientific witnesses talk of personal and professional ridicule much earlier.

In addition, there were a couple of interviews where scientific material was presented that made little sense to the average layman.  As it stands, this is not a film that attempts to speak to the average, dumbed-down reality show viewer. One wonders who the real audience for this film is. It’s certainly not Joe the Plumber.  In some respects it’s preaching to the choir and trying to convert new members.  It also seems directed to an  elite, educated crowd – the scientists, the politicians, the corporate and media types with their heads in the sand, the same elites that Dr. Greer has made a career trying to break down conventional doors and reach with his many other projects.  Then again, many other researchers seem to have abandoned attempts to wake up mainstream media-addicted zombies – particularly in the West, in the United States.  It’s ironic that in Russia, once behind the iron curtain, they have already aired similar documentaries on their national television.

Like those documentaries, Dr. Greer doesn’t just stick to one conspiracy as might be expected.  He touches on nearly every major controversial topic important to humanity’s global awakening – topics like the federal reserve, the suppression of free energy technology, false flag operations, 9/11 as inside job, meditation, remote viewing, unity consciousness, near death experiences, media mind control, and Eisenhower’s Military Industrial Complex.

“In for a penny, in for a pound,” I guess.  I say bravo, Dr. Greer.  What one inevitably finds when investigating the UFO phenomenon is that it quickly leads to numerous other conspiracies, all interrelated, until you find yourself falling down the rabbit hole.

On a personal note, I’ve met Dr. Steven Greer and his wife.  I’ve attended  one of his lectures, and I’ve participated in his CE-5 protocols several years ago.  Few people can deliver a lecture like Dr. Greer.  He is an incredibly intelligent, thoughtful man with an almost supernatural memory for detail and a totally unexpected, down-to-earth sense of humor.  He’s also a big muscular guy – so a little intimidating – a regiment he adopted surviving cancer.

I spent a week on the beach at Nags Head, North Carolina, with his team attempting to contact UFOs.  Sounds totally nuts, yet I have to say it was one of the most blissful weeks of my life – with all the various meditation practices we did each and every day. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any ‘highly visible’ UFO sightings.  We did, however, attract an unusual amount of military activity.  Every night we had fighter jets and helicopters fly over the beach.  On our last night, there was a caravan of military activity up the beach less than a mile away!  This was highly unusual for Nags Head.  I’ve vacationed there for many years and have never seen so much military activity on the beach before.  I’m just saying…

At the beginning of the film, Dr. Greer’s cryptic mention of a “Dead Man’s Switch” has no follow up later in the film, which makes me wonder if it was a deliberately planted message to those unhappy with the release of this film.  After all, Dr. Greer is whip smart, and he has taken all sorts of precautions for his own protection.  He has truly given the world a remarkable film, one I hope opens news doors of perception, speeding along the inevitable transformation of our imprisoned world.

There is indeed some confusion at the end of the documentary concerning the DNA of the 6 inch humanoid.  The scientist who examines the sequenced DNA data seems reluctant to say this is anything other than human, but then he goes on to explain the methodology of DNA research, how the computer throws aside any evidence that it doesn’t recognize.  It’s a rather confusing explanation, and it leaves one with the belief that the humanoid is human, or half human.

Why is the film called “SIRIUS”?

The Mysterious Connection Between Sirius and Human History

Since ancient times and across multiple civilizations, Sirius, the dog star, has been surrounded with a mysterious lore. Esoteric teachings of all ages have invariably attributed to Sirius a special status and the star’s importance in occult symbolism is an attestation of that fact. What makes Sirius so special? Is it simply due to the fact that it is the brightest star in the sky? Or is it also because humanity has an ancient, mysterious connection with it? This article looks at the importance of Sirius throughout History and secret societies and will describe the symbolism surrounding it.

Sirius is located in the constellation Canis Major – also known as the Big Dog – and is therefore known as the “dog star”. It is over twenty times brighter than our sun and is twice as massive. At night time, Sirius is the brightest star in the sky and its blue-white glare never failed to amaze star gazers since the dawn of time. No wonder Sirius has been revered by practically all civilizations. But is there more to Sirius than meets the eye?
