The Simpsons PREDICTED a Donald Trump presidency… and it didn’t end well: Time travel episode from 2000 featured ‘broke’ nation reliant on aid from CHINA
- Episode called Bart to the Future includes vision of the U.S. in 2030
- Lisa Simpsons has just been elected president – to succeed Trump
- Nation’s financial ruin due to Trump policies is revealed
- In contrast to his 2016 rhetoric, U.S. is shown taking handouts from China
- Lisa has to institute massive tax hikes in order to dig America out of its hole
- Simpsons has ‘predicted’ world events before, including Ebola, the discovery of the Higgs-Boson particle and the Arab Spring
Donald Trump’s bid for the White House and ascendancy in the polls has surprised many – but The Simpsons called it 15 years ago.
The cartoon foretold a Trump presidency in a surreal episode where Bart is given a window into the future – and found a country brought to its knees by financial mismanagement and a crime wave ushered in by The Donald
In Bart to the Future, first aired in March 2000, a fortune teller gave Bart a glimpse of 2030 – just weeks after Trump vacated the White House.

Last, best hope: In the old Simpsons episode, Lisa Simpson is elected to succeed Trump in the White House – and inherits an unmanageable level of national debt
The episode’s alternate universe reveals that Trump, who will be 84 in 2030, left the country in an impossible amount of debt, and reliant on foreign aid from Europe and China.
This sorry state of affairs is the exact opposite of Trump’s current campaign promise to ‘Make America Great Again’, and stop ‘losing’ to other nations.
The recently-unearthed episode is the latest in a series of eerie Simpsons predictions, in which the show has foreseen the Arab Spring, the Ebola crisis and the discovery of the Higgs-Boson particle.
In the episode’s vision of the future, America is also at the mercy of an army of genetically-enhanced thugs, brought about by Trump programs designed to help the nation’s youth which dramatically backfired.
Great Again? According to a graph by finance whizz Millhouse Van Houten, Trump’s administration brought the nation to financial ruin, and the ignominious position of accepting handouts from China
The only person who can save the shattered United States is none other than the newly-elected President Lisa Simpson.
Despite her lofty ambitions to ‘refill the oceans’ and build the world’s biggest book-mobile, her biggest task becomes rescuing the nation from its crippling debt.
An exchange from Lisa’s first cabinet meeting, meeting a balding Millhouse in charge of the nation’s finances, starts with a sobering financial summary.
Lisa says: ‘As you know, we’ve inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump. How bad is it, Secretary Van Houten?’
He holds up a graph showing a financial death-plunge and replies: ‘We’re broke’.
Up-to-date: The Simpsons has mocked Trump more recently, too. In a clip shown above, Homer gets sucked into his vortex-like hairdo
Lisa later asks whether there is any money to fund her campaign pledges – to which another official replies: ‘No. We borrowed from every country in the world.’
Lisa is later forced to announce an enormous tax hike in an attempt to right Trump’s wrongs, which kills her approval ratings.
It also does nothing to placate the nation’s creditors.
But the nation is eventually saved by Bart, a failed musician in the future vision, who uses his well-practiced ability dodging debt repayments to win the United States a reprieve.
As well as its prediction of Trump’s presidential ambitions, which he has entertained since at least the 1980s, The Simpsons has given The Donald its signature treatment more recently.
Not long after his controversial campaign launch, where he called Mexican immigrants ‘rapists’ and ‘drug dealers’, The Simpsons published a short video featuring Homer and Trump in close quarters.
In the video Homer was slipped $50 by a campaign official to cheer on Trump at the launch, riffing on real-life allegations that The Donald had paid for support.
However, overexcited fans shunted him right behind Trump as he made his way down an escalator – prompting Homer to get sucked inside his much-commented-upon hairdo, where he found other lost souls including Amelia Earhart.
As soon as he was expelled from Trump’s hair-vortex, Homer was collared by security guards and dumped back in Springfield.
THROUGH THE YELLOW CRYSTAL BALL: OTHER WORLD EVENTS ASTONISHINGLY PREDICTED BY THE SIMPSONS
A Trump presidential campaign will hardly be the first event The Simpsons apparently predicted from afar.
The show has called world events correctly before, in fields as diverse as politics, medicine and theoretical physics.
In 1997 an episode apparently predicted the Ebola outbreak in early 2015 which devastated West Africa.
Uncanny: In a 1997 episode of The Simpsons, the show’s creators appear to hint at the recent African Ebola epidemic
In the episode Lisa’s Sax, a sick Bart is given a book to read to keep him occupied at home. However, despite her intentions to soothe her son, Marge hands over a volume entitled Curious George and the Ebola Virus.
The cover features a sicken monkey – the animal which carries Ebola. Frames of the cover are followed moments later by Bart gesturing to a drawing of piled-up bodies.
A 1998 episode – The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace – got science buffs talking years later, when it emerged Homer Simpson had produced a decent approximation of a theory related to the Higgs-Boson ‘God particle’.
Genius? An episode from 1998 shows Homer Simpson producing an apparently functional approximation of a theory for the mass of a Higgs-Boson particle
One experienced particle physicist said that a complicated equation Homer scribbled on a chalkboard seemed to pre-empt the discovery by experts at CERN.
And Matt Groening’s gang also apparently foresaw the political downfall of Syria, brought about by the Arab Spring.
A 2001 Simpsons episode – New Kids on the Blecch, shows clips of a war in an unspecified Middle Eastern country.
Some of the U.S. enemies depicted in the show were using a jeep branded with a flag used by nobody at the time it was aired – but which more than a decade came to be used by a rebel group in Syria.

One of the central topics I’ve dealt with is media fakery, Psy Ops, hoaxing and how this all ties directly into Hollywood, through the government’s direct contact with Tinsel town. For most people, this is far-fetched and too much, yet when we consider the best explanatory narrative for these events, we can only conclude there is large-scale coordination. The immense scale of the outright lies and the full spectrum approach of the mass media’s psy ops (and in my view mass media itself is a psy op) is something most people cannot accept, yet the usage of fakery and deception on the part of the state is historically commonplace, from Plato’s “noble lie” in the Republic, to Book VI of Machiavelli’s Art of War.
The countless instances of this coordination, from episodes of The Simpsons, to Grey’s Anatomy, and the pre-9/11 examples, the only logical conclusion for a thesis concerning predictive programming/pre-scripting is that it is organized and coordinated. Granted, some cases of this “pre-scripting” could be coincidence and happenstance, but the sheer number of impossible coincidences bespeaks more. And given that the state, historically, has generally engaged in mass scale deception and fakery – especially in warfare and military application – is not obvious that state-coordination is the most logical thesis as to how mass shootings, “terror attacks” and other “big events” all tie into fiction? It most certainly is.
Chris Kendall of Hoax Buster’s Call has done excellent work in tracking many of these instances (as well as Darwinism), as he has documented in his piece, “Media Manipulation and Coordination: Why does the “News” always seem to get mixed in with Fiction?”:
NOTE: This is a revised and updated post that was originally made back in December of 2014.
“The film “Made in France,” a thriller about a jihadist cell that launches a series of simultaneous attacks in Paris, saw its release postponed indefinitely in light of Friday’s terrorist attacks across Paris.
The decision was taken by the film’s distributor, Pretty Pictures, who is still determined to release the film at a “later date”.
Posters of the film, that had just been freshly plastered inside numerous Paris metro stations, sported a dramatic visual: a large Kalashnikov nestled against France’s most iconic symbol, the Eiffel Tower.
The film was originally scheduled to hit the big screen on November 18, and the producers wanted to make a striking impression with a powerful image. But in a cruel twist of life imitating art, Paris came under attack and within hours the posters were hastily removed by Media Transports, the advertising arm of the RATP.
Even more than the poster’s image, it’s the plot of Nicolas Boukhrief’s film that seems to echo the terror that France has just been subjected to. “Made in France” tells the story of an undercover journalist who infiltrates a jihadist cell in a Paris suburb which is preparing a series of highly sophisticated attacks in the heart of Paris.”
More recently, Chris has put together an excellent video analyzing the Giffords Shooting and its connection to an episode of Grey’s Anatomy that includes the very details of the event (which I followed intently at the time). The episode, it should be noted, aired January 6, 2011, while the shooting event occurred January 8th, 2011. Do the producers of primetime TV have a magic crystal ball? Are they sacrificing Paul Walkers each blood moon so the spirits of the gods can divine the details of a shooting event a week later? Or, is it more likely the CIA (as we absolutely know) coordinates the media and Hollywood to mix up fact and fiction into a synthetically GMO-created faction – a new reality schema with which the public mind interprets the real world? The second is the correct answer, if you didn’t know.
Chris notes in his post, “The Shooting Epidemic Part 2.: Giffords and Grey’s Anatomy:”

More PROOF Gabby Giffords & Mark Kelly Are Nothing But FRAUDS (2016)
Chris’ examples also extend to recent shootings, such as Charleston and the WBDJ “event,” and worth recalling:
“The season one finale of USA Network’s Mr Robot will not be broadcast Wednesday night as scheduled because it contains a scene that has similarities to the on-air killings of a TV reporter and cameraman in Virginia.
The network made the announcement shortly after the news broke about the fatal shooting of Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27, during a live interview on the morning news on CBS affiliate WBDJ. ‘Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight’s episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time,’ USA said in a statement.”

“It is not random chance this was included in the Kingsman script, and the plot gets even nuttier. Intent on testing his VLF manipulation technology, Valentine chooses a backwoods Kentucky “racist” church, having led Galahad (Firth) there. The frequency manipulation results in Galahad assassinating all the church members in a bloody festival of gore that hints at a mass ritual murder.”
Charleston church shooting… “On the evening of June 17, 2015, a mass shooting took place at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, United States. Nine people were shot and killed, including the senior pastor, state senator Clementa C. Pinckney; a tenth person was shot and survived. The church is one of the United States’ oldest black churches and has long been a site for community organization around civil rights.”
Another feature of this phenomenon that is crucial to understand is the lack of emotion and/or out-of-place emotion on the part of the “actors” in the event, whether Sandy Hook or the “Daily Shooter” events (and here). In this video, you’ll see the incoherent behavior (and bad thespian skills) of a host of participants. Does this sound far-fetched? Consider that Europe just participated in a mass, “chillingly realistic” drill that included some 1,000 actors. And, for some participants, this is tremendously amusing – duper’s delight, indeed:
If you’re still not putting the pieces together, consider the pyrotechnics and reality-based first responder, military/terror training tactics and “full immersion” stagecraft that Craft was known for. Chris demonstrates this, as well, in his video:
